Darkblade shrugged at the warrior before turning around. "Okay, well if you need anything you know were to find me." She started to walk off before coming to a quick halt. "And don't forget about Silverpaw, he seemed to be having troubles." The she-cat called back before padding off, catching Grasseyes with a low scowl. "Where were you?" She tipped her head down a little, "You were supposed to babysit Birdpaw and Thornclaw, the mouse brains crossed over MoonClan boarder." She stated to him, accidentally being rude as all could be.

"I wasn't aware I was supposed to babysit anyone,"Grasseyes responded, fur on his shoulders lifting defensively, "Birdpaw's not my apprentice, and Thornclaw's a warrior."

Cookies are life, and Varwynd's is lord of Storm Peak.

Varwynd walked through the streets of Arnos, as he always did at Storm-Haven when his duties permitted it. Ruling part of a country wasn't easy, and he sometime wondered how the king did it. He had taxes to collect, soldiers to train, and rebels to chase off. Apparently lost in thought, he turned down a dark narrow alley and slowed his pace. There was something here he needed to collect, and he didn't want the commoners talking about seeing him pick it up.

After taking the package from his informant, he gave the man a nod and then walked back out onto the street. what had had got wasn't much, mostly reports on what the king was doing, how the guards were staying drilled, that sort of thing. Glancing at the sun, he noticed it was almost midday, and so he started towards the palace.

Entering the palace, Varwynd decided to visit the queen before talking to the king. He couldn't remember which way it was to her quarters, and because of that he stopped to ask directions. After giving the guard who had given them to him a nod of thanks, he was off, walking quickly. He slowed down a little bit when he rounded the last corner and saw both Lancelot, and Jon outside her room.

"Lancelot, Sir Jon," He said, giving them both a nod,"Is the queen allowed to see visitors?"

"Your Grace," Varwynd said with a bow, "Shall we walk, or should I tell you why I came to Arnos in private?" Either way, he would tell the king why he was here, so it didn't really matter much to him.

"There have been raids on my outer villages," Varwynd said getting right to business. "I'm training more soldiers, and I can have them stationed outside the villages. But I think my people are letting rebels into the village, if the I could have six of your knights, it might discourage them."

"I don't know for sure that the rebels are gain access to my city, but how would I know who a rebel is? They don't exactly come out and say that the king is a tyrant," Varwynd said, knowing he was losing ground fast. "It maybe that there is nothing, but if the king's knights show up in Storm Haven, surely it means that king cares about his kingdom?"
